Over the past year a surprising amount of Hawaii material has come to market through auctions, including items
kept off the market for over fifty years. Prices realized once again prove collectors chase quality as unique
or extremely fine pieces have sold for astonishing values. Keeping up with the fast pace would be another full
time job but over the course of the next few weeks, I will endeavor to list a summary.
