BLOCK OF TEN

Scott 28a 10block

Block of ten, UL pane, positions 1-5 and 6-10, Scott No. 28a. Note the left leaf panel of these stamps. Ink skips forming white gaps where the color missed are evident in the left leaf panel of several stamps in the block. These ink skips take the shape of "cat's paws" or "donut holes." The color of these stamps is medium rose, Scott 28a. The vertical striae of the laid paper can be seen easily in the left selvage.
